Welcome to Multi-hour-building.com!

The absolute best way to see the US and build hours at the same time.

- Block's of 25, 50 or 100 hours Only. X country Only !
- Minimum requirenent JAA/ FAA / ICAO PPL multi.
- We will help you attain an FAA PPL Multi if you don't already have one.

Two pilots are allowed to log the same flight under certain circumstances. That gives an hourly rate of 60 USD for multi IFR Complex time, if you share the cockpit with a fellow Aviator. This is probably the best price anywhere.

Furthermore there will, at all times be a commercial/ATP pilot in the backseat, who is used to work in a MCC environment, and has substantial knowledge in flying in the US. The above mentioned will make the hour building a goldmine of information and at the same time drill procedures and Non Normal flight situations. This is not a restriction, but rather an asset.

IMPORTANT:
We do not provide personal insurance when NOT airborne!
Be sure you have a travel insurance that covers The US even a visit to the doctor to get some prescription medication can easily cost $300.
You MUST bring your own headset, no exemptions.
Triple check your licenses and medicals!!!! If you do not have a FAA medical we can help you obtain one before departure.

NOTE you cannot convert your license without a FAA medical, so plan on spending an extra couple of days,  if you do not have a FAA medical on the day of your arrival.
NOTE you can obtain a FAA medical almost all over the  world. Check www.faa.gov to locate the nearest FAA medical facility.

If you decide to do the dry rate price at 120 USD per airborne hour, you have to prepare a lot of planning and also carry a lot of cash. You always get the best fuel price when paying cash. You have to decide which option you take before we start. At most airfield in the entire US there is usually a crew car for free. This makes it a dream to go shopping for food or have a quick sandwich at a fuel-stop. Further there are quite a few places where you can camp on, or around the Airfield if you want to. This brings us to the next Issue. We have seen people arrive with more luggage than Paris Hilton on a weekend trip. You MUST not bring a bag bigger than a ''carry on'' for clothes etc. and a small flight bag for charts and your headset bag.

You should not plan on more than 5 to 6 hours flying pr day maximum. 2 ½ - 3 hours in the morning, then a pee and fuel stop and then another 2 to 3 hours in the afternoon. Also do plan on some night flying. If you have a FAA Instrument rating , plan on filing IFR.

About the airplane

multiengine-hour-buildingApache N22GS is based out of Naples Municipal Airport, Southwest Florida / San Diego, California. She is very well maintained and has allways been owned by airline pilots, thus the maintenance has been to airline standards. N22GS has never been used for flight training and has as little as 4000 hours on the airframe. The cockpit is original with steam gages, but for situational awareness a Lowrance Airmap 2000 was installed in 2009. She flew several major cross country trips 2010, a 100 hour trip covering the majority of The US. A 25 hour trip to Central America and Belize and multiple 25 hour trips on the Eastern Seaboard.
